Wil~Mar's original nine holes opened in
1961 when landowners William (Bill) and Mary Allen utilized the family
farmland to venture into the golf business. In 1977, Mrs. Allen and her
children expanded the course to an 18-hole layout.
Still owned and operated by the Allen children, Wil~Mar's
staff is genuinely delighted to offer a full-service golf facility to its
customers. Recent renovations to the clubhouse, snack bar, and golf course
make Wil~Mar a great choice for individual and
family play, corporate, or group events.
Located only four miles from Raleigh's city limits, Wil~Mar's spacious front
nine and tree-lined back nine offer a challenge to all levels of golfers.
Along with the beauty of the course itself, the natural beauty of the
