These changes are designed to increase the pace of play, and will not affect
the tournament prize results for gross or net scores, since the Fun Golfers
already utilizes the “equitable stroke control” system of scoring for
tournament purposes.
These revised scoring rules only apply to tournament scoring. Fun Golfers
should continue to enter their actual scores, regardless of individual hole
scores, into the Wil~Mar
computer system for their individual play at Wil~Mar
or other courses. The triple
bogey scoring rule only applies to Fun Golfers scheduled tournament events * - indicates new rules/amendments effective January 2010
USGA rules will apply at all times except as modified below: 1. “Winter
rules” will apply in all play.
You may move your ball one club length (no closer to the hole) when it comes
to rest 2. No “gimmees”
or mulligans in tournament play.
You must putt out all greens (unless you have reached the triple bogey 3. If your
